Write a short (5ish) sentence response to the section we read in class today. I think this quote is a pretty interesting place to think about:
"The jurors laughed. They were a mob. Hands grabbed at the mike. Kevin looked anxiously at me. I could do nothing. With all the buttons and switches at my command, I was helpless to change anything on the other side of the glass.
'I got a simple question for you. What's the matter with you? Huh? Huh?'
'Why can't you be normal?'"
What comments/questions/predictions/connections do you have about the section we read today? Please read everyone's comments before posting, because someone might post an interesting question you'd like to answer.

i think that the jury was very mean to stargirl and didn't even listen to what she had to say. If they would of listened to star girl they might of understood her more and see way she does the "weird stuff she does".
ReplyDeleteI think either star girl is going emo, not going to show up ever for a while or she is going to go through measures to get her revenge on the people that shunned her.
ReplyDeleteI think she kinda deserves it for being so weird but she also didn't need it as bad as they were doing it to her.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was nice to do what they did to Stargirl but I think it would have been neat to see how it would of turned out if they didn't stop the show like they did. She didn't deserve what she got from all those people.

ReplyDeleteI think they shouldnt have done what they did and should have been more relaxed. I think that that one girl was jelous of star girl and probably planed the whole thing to happen.
